For those getting discouraged from playing due to some bad reviews, dont. Just dont. The concept of the game is great and clearly loads of changes have been made. You can now watch videos for lives. Is it annoying? Yes, but it also means we no longer have to pay and ad revenue will help the developers which do need to be paid. Also, instead of randomly throwing ads at you, they only appear when you click to watch one. Im also quite a fan of the slower pace. The fact that we can strategise more makes it a lot more interesting. My only real issue is that names are accepted as words and some real words havent been accepted. Not a 5 star game but its definitely getting there.

Awesome game. I paid the money to get infinite lives because I was tired of being held back by that. I love this game.

I have only just started to play this game but I like it so far. Feels like a combination of chess and scrabble.

I really like the game, but after playing around 20 times it stopped working. None of my previous matches show up and it wont let me start a new one.

Fun game. Crashes when trying to add friends though. So I can only play locally at the moment.

This game is simple to understand and fun to play. There is definitely strategy involved. The goal isnt to simple make the biggest word, its to make the right words that get you closer to capturing the most of your opponents territory or getting closer to their capital. You can play online with random people or you can play against a friend on the same device. I dont feel pressured to purchase lives because its simple enough to watch a short advertisement a couple of times, in order to continue playing for free, as Im waiting for people to make their move. That being said, the game offers unlimited lives for 4.99 (US), which I believe to be a fair price for a good game. Some people are upset about the long time people have to respond to a move. In my experience, it takes people either a couple of minutes to a few hours to respond. If you have multiple games running at the same time that doesnt tend to be a problem. In my opinion, this game is a gem among free to play word games.

Great app, fun game, makes you think ahead. Couple issues, if other player stops playing and you exit game you loose a life. A few bugs need worked out. But all in all a fun game for those of us who are not big gamers.

I cant get enough of this game, they start you out with lives that slowly dwindle away game after game. You can watch videos to gain lives, but opted for the 4.99 infinite lives. Its a really addictive game I cant seem to put down

I finally found a game that is actually really fun and addicting to play. Ive been looking for a game for the longest time but I get disinterested to quickly. But not with this game. :D

Loved this game until I ran out of lives and they wouldnt replenish without having to watch a video or buy them. What a shame. Delete.

I love the game but itd be cool if you guys could add more color choices for our icon, especially burgundy you should definitely add burgundy... Like burgundy would be an awesome color to add... And maroon too :)

Fun! But why cant I chat with my opponent? The canned responses do not cut it. Great game though!

There just arent enough players online to stay busy. Unless you badger other people to download and play, youll be waiting hours and days between plays. And I have 10-11 games going at the same time. New games will sit for hours waiting for an opponent to be found. I think people are leaving because the game authors only deplete your game lives. No re-charge on a time or earnings basis. You have to pay money or watch ridiculously long video advertisements to get _one_ game life. If they dont work harder to keep players, there will be fewer and fewer opponents available.

I love this game. Its a new approach to letter games (letters dont have to touch or be in the correct order, which takes a little getting used to). As other reviews had said, you have to wait for the other player to make a play, but it doesnt take days unless the other player has given up the game. Most of the time I get plays back within minutes or at most a couple of hours. Its not fast play, but you can keep a dozen or more games going on at once - I currently have 17. Deceptively simple. I love this game.

Fun Game! Complainers - Whats a few dollars for a game you like? The game lasts longer than a cup of coffee! Please add more twists: 1)Change the likelihood of easy letters (like a, e, s) and difficult letters (like x, z, q). 2)Change the number of tiles on the board. 3)Add random barriers. 4)Change the shape of the tiles. 5)Create a handicap. I look forward to playing this game for months to come!

Great looking design and game responsiveness. A creative spin on the ubiquitous word games out there! The tutorial didnt quite give me as much instruction as I needed about the objective / strategy of the game, but after a few rounds it became evident how best to tackle expansion of territory around ones capital.

This game is a lot of fun!! Definitely two thumbs up if you like word games.
