Faster and more fun then scrabble

I am giving 3/5 for making a player suffer of long queues at the beginning due to high prices... and for irritating a player with so many in-game limitations/pure luck... and for being able to avoid loses being counted by forfeiting a game... Quite a long list... Expand the game limitations and work on the wins/losses overview!

Im 53 and am shocked to see such reviews from people who are looking at a "fast fix" game where they have only to complain they "dont get it". It is a game, and 70% of games take some sort of learning curve. If you want a simple to play, non learning curve, try something else that follows your skill set. Maybe spelling, with chess, with a little competition is too much for some people. I only play for relaxation, and to pass time in the loo. Have a great time playing! It is great!

Seriously such a great game, very well done. My boyfriend and I obsessively play against each other all the time. The biggest issue with this game is that not enough people are playing it!

Either youre the biggest troll ever, or youre the most intellectually-challenged person in existence. You obviously mistyped your IQ, Im guessing you left out the decimal point (1.30). This is clearly a scrabble type strategy game, you know, like the other 3.5 billion other strategy word games. The #&$@ outta here.

The game is just incredible. Im completely addicted to it. Its a shame it doesnt have enough players. One complaint I have is that life does not get added automatically every day or when you complete a game. There is no reward except your stats. Update: Im taking back 1 star only because the back and submit buttons overlap and the devs arent listening either. Ive lost so many games due to this. Really annoying! Came across another bug where Ive made a 13 letter word and the opponent quit the game but game center doesnt show it as my achievement.

So I love this game, but after I opened it the first time and created games, I cant create any more games, when I try to, the app just closes

This game was excellent until the update where you have to watch an ad to play popped up. All of my friends stopped playing after that. Please change the system back from this. Maybe even an ad can pop up automatically before you can make your second move.

Just be ready for this thing to chew up your cellular data for no discernible reason. Disappointingly inefficient.

I love that this game requires strategy and that its not just about making the longest words you can come up with. It would be nice if lives regenerated, but Im not going to complain too much about that. The design is great too - love everything about it.

I would have given this 5 stars since I have been addicted to the game for over a month now. However, I found that my phone was pushing its data limit which is unusual. I checked my settings and found that Capitals had used over 1.8 GBs for the month! So I reset the statistics and only used Capitals a few times over the past few times on data (2-3 times tops) and it says that the app has used 90 MBs already! This app is a real drain on data. Dont know how the developers pulled that one off but its caused me to be scared to open the app at all when Im not on wifi...

This game was a really cool concept, and waiting a few hours for lives made sense. But after the update, Ive run out of lives and open games, and I cant start a new game because the ads you have to watch to get lives now are "unavailable." So the app has become a waste of storage space. But my favorite tidbit? The word "free" is actually in the apps name. What does free mean to you, NimbleBit? Because I think it means something different to the rest of us.

I really enjoy this game, but probably 40% of the people I play against are blatantly cheating. After playing against multiple people who are submitting 9-to-12-letter words, almost INSTANTLY, I realized that something was wrong. A quick Google search lead me to a few different websites which allow you to input any sequence of letters, and will then spit out all possible words that can be created using those letters. Its no doubt that people are using services like this to win at Capitals, given the fact that theres no time limit for a players turn. Players have unlimited time to go and find the best possible word to play, by any means necessary, apparently. This totally ruins it for people who are actually looking for a challenge and some friendly competition. Hopefully the developers implement a time limit for turns soon!
