Pretty great word game. Fun twist on scrabble.
Ive been playing Nimblebit games for years and have loved them. This game is also a fun take on normal scrabble-like games. There is, however, one giant problem which led me to stop playing within a day of starting: theres no free life refills. Most games, your life meter will slowly refill over time and you can choose to watch an ad or pay money if youre impatient. When I used up my lives in this game, I was puzzled not to find a count down to my next life. I watched an ad or two, then decided to wait a few days to see if my lives refilled. They have not. Im sorry, Nimblebit, but forcing us to either watch an ad or pay money every time we want to play the game is not a good business model. I know you need to make money, but taking away "choice" will just lead to many people abandoning the game. Please let me know if you change your minds.
Great game/concept, but there are a few things that really take away from the game. 1. The lives issue. You start out with a set number of lives and once theyre gone the only way to get more is to pay for them or watch ads. Simply rewarding wins with a life would address this and incentivize people to play to win/not forfeit. 2. I really wish that in single devise mode it told you what word the other person played. I enjoy playing with my friends on one device but you have no clue what word they play unless they ask.
Playing this game with our whole family - mom, dad and adult children. Bought the infinite version for $4.99 - well worth it.
Capitals is a great game, but the reason I gave it a four is because the game has some bugs and there are a ton of cheaters that you play against. Also when you try to invite someone from gamecenter your game crashes which is very annoying. But overall a great game, fun, and very addicting.
A different kind of word game!
I am The Best Player This Game Has. Period. Challenge me, my username is AntGM Also , this game is played with strategy, thinking about how you want to invade your opponents capital using letters only from your side that leads to theirs. This is not just about creating words using any letter , if you do it that way you will surely lose. Really pay attention to the tutorial. You need to think it through and actually set up a defense where its harder for your opponent to spell into your territory. Pretty good game.
I just wish it had the option to play against the computer because waiting on people to play can get real boring!!
Fun game that adds a novel twist to word games. But there is no real reward for winning and I spend ages waiting for other "matched" players to play their turn. Maybe the game incentives could be tweaked. Til then Im deleting it.
When I first opened this game, I loved it. It was fun, addicting, and aesthetically pleasing, but after a while a realized a few major problems. First, there are no refills for the lives that the game gives you. Once you use the lives they give you, the only way to continue is to watch an ad or buy more. Second, the letters that the game gives you seem to be the same each time and the game seems to heavily favor hard letters like q and v. There are not enough vowels in my opinion for these letters to be so common, as I have seen the same words over and over again. I really wanted this game to be great but I fell short of my expectations for sure.
The game is fun, but whenever I try to invite someone the game crashes...
This game is an interesting new take on word search combined with strategy. Thoroughly enjoying it, I just wish there were more people playing it.
never gets old
NimbleBit really dropped the ball on this one. Hopefully a computer player is in the making... nice concept, kind of Word Othello, but no way to play solo. Maybe another company will make a spinoff with a solo option.
The only flaw is not being able to recharge lives for free
Really nice game. I cant wait to play everyday. Always checking to see if my opponent played. One thing I think is really unclear for beginners is you dont expand your kingdom or affect your opponents unless the letters you use are connected to your kingdom. So they could improve the tutorial a bit.
I know everyone else has said it already, but come on is there really no way of getting back lives except to buy them or invite friends? You dont even get lives for winning? That makes no sense. This game is really fun but was not thought through very well. At least give us a life every 5 minutes or something
Its a good, solid game. I play with a friend who checks his phone as often as I check mine, so we have played many matches. My only complaint is that the game said "SEXPIRATE" was not a word. It lost me that match!
Super addicting and a lot of fun!!
